Yipu Technology Completes Ten-Million-Yuan Series A Financing, Innovates New Generation of Alkaline Electrolyzer Technology

Willys Electrics mother company Yipu Technology recently completed a ten-million-yuan Series A financing round led by Zhineng Capital. This funding will be used to further develop our independently innovative new generation of alkaline electrolyzers and composite electrolyzer hydrogen production control technology, expand both domestic andinternational markets, and strengthen our professional talent team.

Foundedin April 2020, Yipu Technology's core products include the new generation ofalkaline electrolyzers and composite electrolyzer hydrogen production controltechnology. These technologies can significantly reduce the manufacturing,transportation, commissioning, installation, and maintenance costs of hydrogenproduction equipment, enhancing the economic efficiency of hydrogen production.Our electrolyzers combine the technical characteristics of alkalineelectrolyzers and proton exchange membrane electrolyzers, achieving rapiddynamic response and a wide power operating range through compositeelectrolyzer control technology, providing customers with comprehensive greenenergy solutions.

Globa Business Expansion

Thecompany has also made significant progress in the international market. Yipu Technology established a subsidiary in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with business covering France, Germany, Spain, Poland, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and other countries. In April this year, we successfully signed a 5MW hydrogen production system EPC contract with a new energy company in eastern France, marking thefirst hydrogen production system EPC contract signed by a domestic hydrogen equipment company in Europe.

Yipu Technology's core team has a rich international background. The founder, Luo Jian, graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and has extensive work experience in the chemical and steel industries. The company's overseas business CEO, Thierry, has 15 years of experience in the research anddevelopment and engineering of electrolyzer systems.

We actively collaborate with renowned research institutions and companies at homeand abroad, such as Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the Institute of Applied Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, to carry out collaborative scientific research projects. In terms of industrial applications, we cooperatewith Baowu Group, China Energy Investment Corporation, China Aerospace Scienceand Technology Corporation, Shanghai Electric, and other companies,constructing and commissioning water electrolysis hydrogen production projectsin multiple provinces and cities.

Future Development

With the declining prices of wind and solar electricity and the continuous maturity of technology and equipment, green electricity hydrogen production has become ahot topic in the hydrogen energy field. We will continue to promote thelarge-scale application of alkaline electrolyzers in industries such as steel and chemicals, continuously improving equipment efficiency and reducing costs.Our self-developed new type of alkaline catalyst is also under development to further enhance the overall efficiency of hydrogen production equipment.
